ESS can provide a full or partial comms network for events and remote activities that can include:

• Handheld radios (UHF/VHF)
• Radio repeaters to cover wide area (portable/lightweight for challenging locations)
• Private, licensed commercial channels
• Satellite phones
• Satellite broadband internet
• Satellite distress beacons
• Satellite tracking of participants
• HF (long distance radio)
• Radio technician
• PLB (EPIRB) monitoring

STAND-ALONE or INTEGRATED

Comms equipment can be provided on its own or as part of a first aid or safety team.

SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT

All comms equipment has been developed with performance as the key requirement:

• High-gain antennas for all equipment.
• Radio repeater units that have been built to be lightweight so they can be carried if need be to the best repeater locations.
• High capacity, high amp chargers for 240V and 12V supplies to get everything charged up and ready for use fast.
• Equipment from different sat-phone providers to benefit from the suitability of the different systems for different regions and applications.
